Mold infestation is a common problem which troubles a lot many residential and commercial establishment owners, especially the ones which are located in damp conditions or which do not receive a lot of sunlight most part of the year.     Check for plumbing leaks: Do a thorough inspection of pipes and drains for leaks. If you find mold around these areas, then it is very likely that molds are feeding off a nearby leak. Do not ignore these leaks by simply wiping off the molds, as they would grow again in just a few days time. If you really want a long term solution, then fix the problem by stopping the leakage.
    Inspect vents, flashing and window wells: Sometimes molds tend to develop in and around the cracks of a wall or roof. This requires close inspection of the areas where wall or wood is rotting. Sometimes, the ground around the property proves to be the cause of moisture because of its dampness.
    Use antimicrobial spray: Wipe the area infected with a clean cloth. Wait for the moisture to dry up before spraying an antimicrobial treatment which would prevent the growth of molds in that particular area in the future. Also, seal all the cracks and the grout after spraying the treatment. And make sure that the areas remain devoid of moisture in the future to prevent mold from coming back.
